MDSD - Model Driven Software Development for robotics
Model-driven software development for sensori-motor systems (separation of roles, separation of concerns) and fully integrated service robotic systems.

Model-driven software development for sensori-motor systems (separation of roles, separation of concerns) and fully integrated service robotic systems.
Mobile manipulation, information driven active perception, multi modal object recognition.
... robust and efficient key functionality and components
... extend and merge so far separated techniques
The service robotics research group at the Ulm University of Applied Sciences headed by Prof. Dr. Christian Schlegel focuses on methods, algorithms and software tools for implementing servicerobots and autonomous systems for everyday use. Our focus is on applied research and development. We evaluate our approaches with real robots in everyday environments.
We consolidate the expertise of the funding period 2008-2013 of the ZAFH-Servicerobotik (Zentrum für angewandte Forschung an Fachhochschulen) by third-party funded applied research and development.
We are partners for bilateral and multilateral cooperations and collaborations with industry and small-craft industries, SMEs and large industry at a locale, national and international level within public funding programmes, joint research programmes, contract research.
